Extra Curricular Activities

As well as curriculum subjects and sports there are many other activities that pupils can participate in throughout the school year. Every year tends to have different interests, but for example recent activities have included the production and making of the Newtown Review, the young scientist competition, debating, orienteering, photography, pottery, horse riding and showjumping, music production, surfing, 10 pin bowling, gaelic football, a wide variety of trips and excursions and numerous activities for raising funds for charitable organisations.
