Newtown School is a secure and stable community in which young people can grow to maturity in the company of caring adults. Informal yet attentive supervision generates a friendly atmosphere. Students and staff share the experience and obligations of community living.

The friendly atmosphere carries over into the classroom activities. Good relationships between students and staff allow for a relaxed but effective and creative learning environment.

Day students share in the benefits of the boarding school. They join in extracurricular activities and games in the afternoon, and are welcome to stay in school for supervised study in the evening.
