Residential / Summer Lettings
During the Summer period we deal with a number of different groups beginning immediately after the end of the state examinations, often up until shortly before the students return at the end of August.
Some of these groups book the school on an exclusive basis, others like to share with other similarly minded groups.
The school can accommodate residential groups with a bed requirement up to 200 (approx.). On occasion a larger group has arranged to use part of the grounds as a camp site. All accommodation is provided in the form of small dormitories – some small (one, two or three bed units), other larger (four, five or six bed units). In the past we have used bunk beds where larger groupings were required.
The school has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Some groups have, by special arrangement, used the facilities on a self-catering and / or self-cleaning basis. Most now are fully catered and supported by school staff.
Other available facilities can include the Study Hall, Lecture Theatre, Foy Hall (indoor sports hall with stage), various flat classrooms and social areas, and of course the various pitches, tennis courts and the pool.
The school cannot at this time consider residential lettings during short breaks such as mid terms and Easter because of the turnaround time involved in setting up and resetting the facilities.
