Welcome to the Old Scholars section of our website
Every departing pupil is given the option of a lifetime membership of the Old Scholars Association for a nominal fee. The Old Scholars have always been a source of support and advice for the School and have been instrumental in funding a number of activities within the School, including the Essay competition, the photography competition, the Old Scholars’ Garden and, most recently they have agreed to fund the renovation of the school pond.
In recent years they have provided a fund to support individual and group student activities, allowing pupils apply and make their case for support. This fund has supported such diverse activities as:
- Young Social Innovators
- NSW pupils attending the Croydon Youth Drama Festival
- a PA system for a 6th year student
- Choir trip to Prague
- Senior boys hockey team participation in All-Ireland Schools Senior Hockey Tournament
- Young Scientists
- Support for a pupil who qualified for the under-16 World Surfing Championship in Tahiti
- Orienteering
- Senior Rugby Trip to Toulouse
- Senior Girls Hockey Trip to Wales
- Model UN
- Debating Society
